Xender is one of the popular applications used for sharing files. It lets you transfer different kinds of files between devices without needing Wi-Fi or mobile internet, and without using any mobile data.
Besides sharing files between smartphones, Xender can also transfer files between a PC and a smartphone without using cables. You can check out the steps below to learn how to connect Xender to the computer.
Step 1:
First of all, open the Xender application on your smartphone.
Step 2:
Tap on the “three lines” given on the right-hand side and then choose “Connect PC”.
Tip: Switch on your device hotspot and ensure that the PC is connected to the hotspot to make the process quick.
Step 3:
Once you click on the option “Connect PC”, you will see a page that displays a web address. Now open your desktop browser and enter the web address of your device (Note: The web address might differ depending on your phone device).
Step 4:
After you enter the web address and press enter, a box will pop up on your smartphone which will ask if you want to “Accept” or “Decline” the connection.
At that time, click “Accept” and your Xender will be successfully connected to your PC or laptop. Now, you can easily send and receive files between your PC and smartphone.
